The Kannapolis Missional Network plans to have 4 combined worship services this year. The remaining dates for these community services are July 6, Aug. 31, and Nov. 23. The next combined worship service will be on July 6 at Jackson Park UMC at 10:30 a.m.
June 25 will begin a new Bible Study. We will be reading Romans, 1 Corinthians, and 2 Corinthians. You will need to read 5 chapters before we meet and be ready to discuss what you have read. The Bible Study will be at Memorial UMC on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. This Bible Study will meet weekly until Aug. 27. Hope to see you there.
VBS for the missional network will be at Jackson Park UMC July 13-July 17. 5:30 supper will be served. The program will begin at 6. Classes are available for Pre-K to rising 6th graders. A nursery will be provided. Thursday, July 17 will be our celebration. We will meet at 6 with desserts following the celebration. (No meal served on Thursday.)
Our next game night is June 12. Plan to bring your favorite game. Game nights will be Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. (There will always be a friendly game of Scrabble.)
